BIOGRAPHY
The Sunnyside Ups are a versatile dance
band, with an original repertoire that spans
Reggae, Blues, Soul, R&B, and Rock.
Collectively, the members have performed with
top acts including Edgar Winter, The Mighty
Diamonds, The Meditations, Sister Carol, Merl
Saunders, Leon Russell, Melvin Taylor, The
Legendary Muddy Waters Blues Band, and
Trey Anastacio, and opened for acts like The
Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Taj Mahal, Rankin
Scroo, Randy Mc Allister, and Johnny Sketch
and The Dirty Notes.

Intertwined within their music are The
Sunnysides' messages of environmental and
social responsibility, and a longing for peace,
and love for all of humanity, without prejudice
or pre-condition.


The Sunnyside Ups play primarily original
music with a few cover tunes added. Genres
include Rock, Jazz Fusion, Reggae, Blues,
Funk, R&B, Pop, and Motown.

Members include guitarist and lead vocalist
Jug Colangelo, rhythm guitarist and lead
vocalist Wendye Mc Gehee, bassist and
vocalist Treymon Mc Cabe, and drummer
Doug "DiG" Glenn.
Having completed their 2009 "Fairytales Tour,"
The Sunnyside Ups are working on their
second full-length album, Steady Healing,
which explores their mutual love for Roots
Reggae music.
