LATEST NEWS: 16 YEAR-OLD TO JOIN SUNNYSIDE UPS LINE-UP
Recording is underway on the latest Sunnysides album, "Steady Healing." Basic
tracking has been completed on at least four new songs, with more to come. 16
year-old Mason Lykins will be playing bass in place of Traemon McCabe on this
latest offering.
Meanwhile, The Sunnysides will be performing a limited number of shows with
Lykins during the studio hiatus. 2012 summer shows featuring The Sunnyside Ups
will include The Earth Mountain Snap Pea Jamboree, August 10-12, and the always
popular Gardner Hippie Days Festival, August 24-26.
Although only 16 years-old, Lykins has worked hard to develop his craft, and his
talent has become apparent in his performances with The Planet O Band. Filling the
void left by Traemon McCabe won't be easy, but Lykins is expected to bring his
own youthful style and energy to the re-vamped Sunnyside Ups show.
